Maria and I are having serious thoughts! :)
The photographer is to blame! We were
having a "meeting of the minds" just
when we were so rudely interrupted by
the flash of that camera!! :)

Posing and Particulars!
Maria does not use a pacifier---
well, only her fingers are used
at present! She loves to pose
with Ernie; they are inseparable!
(almost)! :) In-so-far as particu-
lars are concerned Maria is very
particular! She loves clothes and
shows good taste in her selections.
However, she is so possessive; it
is difficult to change her from
day to day, especially if it is
a piece she adores!

Good Appetite
We have just finished eating lunch. Eli
prefers eating food to drinking liquids.
He is sometimes very insistent about not
eating certain foods, and expresses him-
self likewise! :) (ha,ha). He does enjoy
"acadian-style" gravy! I wish Maria
would eat as much as he does!

An enjoyable sight!
Maria and I are having a great time! She and I
are experiencing wonderful transitional changes
as each day reveals more developments. Here,
we are "laughing the time" away!

Home Alone???
No, of course not! Maria is not
"Home Alone"! In this picture
Maria is demonstrating her reserved
state of independence! She exercises
her right and privileges to "her own
space"! :) |

Photos of August 26, 2001 (PART III--Scanned)
(Tuesday, September 4, 2001) Maria
and Eli seem to be imitating past
behavior patterns. Maria either
amuses herself as a pastime or goes
to sleep by rocking (with or without a rocking
chair)!! Eli has a habit of throwing
his left arm to the left in the manner
of a salute and looking at his hand
as if to inspect all his fingers while
the left index finger is crossed over
the middle finger somewhat!!

OKAY! Which photo is better in your opinion?
I know it is much easier to be "diplomatic"
and say how both pictures are equally good!
However, we all have our personal preferences!

Maria and her pacifier...
Maria and I pose for another picture. Here,
she is showing you her pacifier, and I do
not believe she would relinquish it for the
sake of a camera-shot! :)

"Our Lady"
The other day Maria saw a sculpture of
the last supper, and she gasped "Aww", a
definite sign of interest. I related how Maria at the Ukraine
orphanage use to go and kiss a white statue of
Mary. After hearing this, my parents purchased
a statue of "Our Lady" as shown in the adjacent
picture.

New Clothing Attire!!
This is a great picture of Eli in "overalls" with
that smile of his!
